This is Summer reporting to you. Today’s subject is about my day. Today, being a Monday you
think I would be going to school, but not today! Today was a hurricane day so
it would not have been safe to go to school.
Anyway, let me begin. I woke up at my
friends house (since we had a sleepover that night) and her dad was making
delicious pancakes for breakfast. They were even shaped as our initials. Next,
we decided to do a couple of crafts, from making duck tape flowers to coloring
refrigerator magnets.
My friend has two cats and one dog. The cat’s
names are Tonto and Howie and the dog’s name is Flash. Howie is so fun to play
with and Flash is extremely obedient. Afterwards, they brought us home and we
decided to take a swim. Although, we had to bring ALL of the patio furniture
back outside first. It had been moved indoors because of the hurricane. We
eventually got it all outside and mom said “that was hard work, but we got it
done so now we can enjoy it.” We went diving for rings and jumped in the pool.
It was the end of the night when we decided
to enjoy chicken and rice for dinner. Dessert included yummy s’mores made from
Hershey’s Bars and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Wasn’t that an exciting
hurricane day!
