Hello everyone! I, Joshua, am today’s Roving Reporter. It was a very cloudy Thursday morning when I stepped out of my dad’s car. When I walked into my classroom, our morning work was written on the board. We had to write our homework in our assignment book, write this week’s Bible verse, and write three praises and three prayer requests, and a spelling worksheet.  After we were done with morning work, we got ready for art class.

At art class, Mrs. Sinex, our art teacher, showed us how symmetry is used in art. We did an art project called “Mirror Image”. First, you get a piece of paper and fold it. Then, you draw a half of an image on the left side of the paper. After that, you try to copy it on the other side. Towards the end of art class we had to draw a half of an image and see if Mrs. Sinex can copy it.

When we got back to the classroom, we did more class work. Then Mrs. Couch said “Line up for lunch.” When we got to the cafeteria, I sat with my friends. My mom packed me a delicious Pilipino dish. At the end of our lunch, some of my classmates and I cleaned our table.

After our delicious lunch, we continued reading the book Frindle. Then we got ready for P.E. When we got to the gym, we did our warm-up set. After that, we played a game called “Barn Yard Animal”. To play this game, you need a partner. First, you and your partner pick an animal sound. Next, both of you have to cover your eyes. Then, you split up. After that, you both say the animal sound you both agreed on. Then, try to find each other without looking. Towards the end of P.E, I got grouped with eight classmates and it took a while before we all found each other.

We had science after our P.E. class where we talked about what’s inside the earth. Finally, “It’s 2:30. Time to pack up!” was called on the intercom.  We got ourselves ready and headed downstairs to sit and wait for our parents to pick us up. In conclusion, it was one of the best Thursdays ever. I love my school!
