Alex and Will got the chance to sit down with Mr. Mitchell. Here are some questions that they asked him.
Question: What's your favorite part about being a principal?
Answer: He says “ It is doing mission trips, when we have special events, or when kids are doing good things.”
Question: What was your favorite subject when you were a kid?
Answer: His favorite subject\event was P.E.
Question: What made you decide to be principal?
Answer: He felt called to be a principal. He likes being with kids like us!
Question: What are Three Future plans for the school?
Answer: Mr. Mitchell would like to see new technology at FMCS. He would like Smart boards and I-pads in all the classrooms. He would like our school to have a new bus. And Thirdly, he would like to build the Sports programs back up to keep more kids coming in to our school.
Question: What have been your top 5 major accomplishments as principal of FMCS?
Answer: Seeing teachers receive awards, helping kids go on missions trips, and developing our Missions 25:40 program. We are # 1. Our brand new Children’s Center is a plus. The growth of technology is a great accomplishment and all the different sports and activities like Math Olympics.
Question: How old were you when you decided to be a principal?
Answer: 41 or 42 years old. The position was open and God told him to go!
